  • From Teams, during the meeting: Select More actions at the top of the meeting window. Select Meeting options. Go to Enable Q&A and select the Yes toggle.



How to Moderate Q&A in Your Live Event




To moderate Q&A in your live event, you need to be an organizer or a co-organizer of the event. You can then use the Q&A panel to review, publish, dismiss, answer, or delete questions from attendees. Here are some tips on how to moderate Q&A effectively:


  • Open or close the Q&A: Open the Q&A pane by selecting Show Q&A in the meeting controls. The toggle in the pane will show that the Q&A is open for attendees to ask questions. You can close the Q&A by selecting the toggle and choosing Close Q&A.



  • Review and publish questions: When an attendee asks a question, it will appear in the Q&A pane under New questions. You can review the question and decide whether to publish it to the event or dismiss it. To publish a question, select Publish next to the question. To dismiss a question, select Dismiss next to the question.



  • Answer questions: You can answer questions either publicly or privately. To answer a question publicly, select Answer next to the question and type your response in the text box. Your answer will be visible to all attendees. To answer a question privately, select More options next to the question and choose Answer privately.
